A 20-year-old Syracuse man, at University Hospital after being shot, is now also under arrest on drug charges.

Syracuse Police arrested Landrous Hill as he was being treated. He had been found in possession of crack cocaine and was charged with possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree .

Investigators are also asking for witnesses to the shooting incident, just before 2am Sunday morning.

Police say a large party was letting out at the Boys & Girls Club on Shonnard Street when a fight broke out.

Police a block away heard several shots fired, and Hill found himself wounded in the leg.  He got a ride to University Hospital, where he could not give police any suspect information.

Anyone with information is asked to call Syracuse Police, at 442-5222.
