VIRGIL -- Deputies in Cortland County are investigating a hot tub that was stolen in the Town of Virgil.

Investigators say the hot tub was on display and for sale at a home on Route 392. It was stolen sometime on Wednesday.

Investigators are looking for a dark blue or green truck that was seen in the area on that day. Anyone who saw the vehicle is encouraged to call police at 607-758-6151.

The hot tub is described as being soft sided and would fit about four persons.
