A triple shooting on Syracuse's East Side just before midnight
Syracuse Police are looking for the man who fired into a group of people on a sidewalk in front of 101 Lexington Avenue just before midnight Friday night. Two women and a man are being treated for non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
Investigators say 20-year-old Dorkeisha Jones was hit in the right leg, 20-year-old Janae Maeweather was shot in the knee, and 25-year-old Sean Anderson was shot in the lower leg.
The suspect is described as a black man, wearing a red t-shirt, black hat and red and black sneakers. He was last seen running down Cherry Street toward East Fayette. Investigators say they've recovered several shell casings at the scene.
