2 injured in Syracuse shooting after a dice game near the Southwest Community Center

SYRACUSE -- Syracuse Police are investigating a shooting that injured 2 people along the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue near the Southwest Community Center.

Detectives tell us that Terry Linden and Jovaehn Pringle both were shot in their lower leg, but are expected to be okay.

According to investigators the victims were participating in a dice game around 12:45 Monday morning on the north side of the Center, when a suspect approached them and opened fire.

Linden and Pringle were taken to University Hospital where they are recovering.

Right now police say they don't have much suspect information and the two victims are not being cooperative.
