SYRACUSE -- Syracuse Police say they are investigating an armed robbery at the Rainbow Market, located at 1223 Butternut Street.
That’s between Griffiths Street and 1st North Street on Syracuse’s Northside.
Police say that on Tuesday night, around 10:05pm, two black male suspects entered the store.
They were wearing all black clothes, masks, and gloves and were armed with what were described as semi-auto handguns.
Police say the suspects "roughed up" the two store clerks, but did not injure them. They made off with cash and some tobacco products from the store.
Officers found a black t-shirt, mask, and a pair of gloves not too far from the store after the robbery.
