A three year old has only minor injuries, after falling three storeys out an open window on Saturday evening.

A call to 911 alerted Syracuse Police, who found the boy lying in the alley between 124 and 132 West Castle Street, on Syracuse's near south side, about 6:40pm.  He was evaluated at Upstate University Hospital, and injuries are reported minor and non life-threatening.

The child lives in an apartment at 124 West Castle, and was playing with a sibling, on a bed pushed up against an open window when investigators say he fell out.  The boy's father, 22 year old James Rapholz, was home but unaware that his child had fallen.  He was arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
