Firefighters at apartment fire on East Colvin Street

Six people are out of their home after an apartment fire in Syracuse.
The fire broke out at a building on East Colvin street at around 1:30 Thursday afternoon. No one was home when firefighters got to the scene, but firefighters did rescue a chihuahua from the burning building.
The Red Cross is helping the family.
The building was burning at the same time as a home on Delaware Street.
