TABERG -- Police in Oneida County say they have located a missing teenage boy after an overnight search.

Early Friday morning the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office released a missing person report for 13-year-old Daniel G. Wilkinson. Police had said Wilkinson was last seen on Thursday at about 8:30 p.m. at his home on Martin Court in Taberg.

Later in the morning, police updated their investigation to say that Wilkinson was located in the City of Rome and returned home by sheriff's deputies.

Police say deputies, State Police, and State Forest Rangers had been searching the woods surrounding Daniel's house on Martin Court.
