Syracuse police say they have arrested a man in connection with a bank robbery that happened last Wednesday.

Johnny Coley, 54, of Syracuse, is facing charges of 3rd degree robbery and 3rd degree grand larceny in connection with the crime.

Police say around 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday, Coley walked into the Chase Bank on James St. in Syracuse, told the teller he had a weapon, and got away with cash.

Police released surveillance photos of the bank robber, and they say they received tips based on those photos that led them to Coley.

None of the money stolen in the robbery has been recovered, yet.
