SYRACUSE -- A little taste of Louisiana has come to Destiny USA, courtesy of a fast food chain that is growing nationwide.
Destiny USA tells CNY Central that the Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen restaurant has opened for business in the food court. This is the first mall location for Popeyes in Central New York. The storefront, measuring 648 square feet, officially launched Thursday morning.
“We are excited to bring Popeyes to Syracuse,” said mall General Manager Rob Schoeneck. “Anticipation for the restaurant’s opening has been steadily building among our guests.”
Popeyes specializes in “New Orleans” style food, including spicy chicken, seafood, and jambalaya. The company boasts more than 2,000 locations across the country and was founded in 1992.
