PUKASKI -- State Police in Pulaski investigated a report of malnourished horses at 100 Paye Road in the Town of Sandy Creek on June 22.

Police say the horses were evaluated by the Oswego County Humane Society and a veterinarian from North Country Veterinary. They found that the horses were underweight, but that there were no signs of neglect.

The homeowner, in conjunction with county officials, will work to ensure the horses are properly fed and nourished to attain the appropriate weight.
