The vacant P&C store on the Southside of Syracuse will soon host a TOPS. The new supermarket will open in the Valley Plaza, on South Salina Street in the city.
Southside neighbors are happy, they've been waiting a long time for a new full-service grocery store.
TOPS is expected to open later this year, possibly as early as November or December, and could add as many as 100 new jobs to the area.
TOPS Markets has 132 full service supermarkets in upstate New York and in northern Pennsylvania.
