VOLNEY -- A Canandaigua man racked up a handful of charges, including DWI, after he led police on a chase through Volney and Fulton Thursday evening.
Police say 50-year-old Todd Blondell sped across a railroad crossing on SR 481 where police were responding to a malfunctioning light.
Police say that after crossing the railroad tracks, Blondell swerved out of his lane and across road hazard markings causing other drivers to pull over.
When police tried to pull over Blondell, they say he began to pull over but then got back on the road and drove off.
Police followed Blondell on SR 481 into Fulton and onto North 6th Street where he finally came to a stop.
Blondell was charged with DWI, driving without a license, resisting arrest, fleeing police, failure to keep right, crossing road hazard markings, and reckless endangerment.
He was arraigned in the Town of Scriba and is being held in Oswego County Jail without bail.
