An eleven year old girl was hit by a driveby shooter, while inside a home in Rome on Friday night.
An 11-year old girl was hit in the face, neck and arm by a drive-by shooter in Rome on Friday night.
Rome Police say the girl was inside a home at 602 Park Drive about 9:30pm, when she was hit. She suffered graze wounds from the bullet shrapnel and has been released from the hospital.
Police were called to the house on 'shots fired' reports. They were met by a 25-year old man and a 30-year old woman, residents of the home, who say they were sitting on the front porch when someone in an older model, silver or gold colored sedan drove by and fired at least three times from a shotgun. Police say the man and woman victims are not being cooperative with the police investigation.
