WEST MONROE -- A Parish Elementary school employee is accused of driving drunk in the town of West Monroe on Saturday.

Police say 51-year-old Michael E. McAuliff rear-ended a homemade trailer being towed behind a pickup truck driven by 19-year-old Joshua Cates-Bishop of Central Square.

Both men were taken by ambulance to local hospitals following the incident.

The Oswego County Sherriff’s Office has confirmed to CNY Central that McAuliff is an employee of the Parish Elementary School, but would not confirm his position.

McAuliff is listed on the Parish Elemenary school's website as the Principal.

McAuliff is scheduled to appear in Town of West Monroe Court on August 13.
