SYRACUSE -- Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Food King in Syracuse.

Syracuse Police say it happened at the Food King store at the intersection of Oakwood Avenue and East Castle Street Monday night.

Police say two men with handguns entered the story around 11:30 p.m. and demanded that the clerk give them money. The clerk gave money to one of the suspects.

As the suspects were leaving, police say one fired a shot into the ceiling of the store.

Police say both suspects were wearing masks. One was described as male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark pants, and the other was wearing a dark shirt and dark pants.

No one was injured during the incident.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Syracuse Police at 442-5222.
