SULLIVAN -- Investigators need your help identifying a body that was found on Oneida Lake.

The victim was discovered on the shore in the Town of Sullivan, just east of Bridgeport.

Madison County Sheriff's Deputies say the victim is a white man in his 40's or 50's, weighing between 180 to 200 pounds with a surgical scar on his chest.

Deputies say the victim was clothed in a blue bathing suit and gray t-shirt with the sleeves cut off.

Investigators believe the victim was killed by a medical condition while he was swimming.

Detectives are asking residents around Oneida Lake to notify Sheriff's Investigators if they notice a neighbor or friend who may match the description of this victim, and has not been seen in the past day or two.

Deputies do not believe foul play was involved.

If you have information contact the Madison County Sheriff's Department at (315) 366-2311
