UTICA -- A Utica man was arrested after allegedly yelling incoherently at a funeral.

Police in Utica say they responded to a report of a man acting disorderly at a funeral at the Holy Trinity Church on Lincoln Avenue Monday evening.

45-year-old Brian Thompson was allegedly yelling incoherently and disrupting the funeral service.

Police say Thompson appeared to be highly intoxicated.

When Thompson was arrested, officers say he had "Bizarro" synthetic marijuana with him.

Thompson was charged with disruption of a religious service and unlawful possession of synthetic drugs.
