SYRACUSE -- Syracuse has been named one of the ‘top drinking towns’ by The Huffington Post.
According to the Huffington Post, which compiled data from the 2012 U.S. Census, Syracuse has the sixth highest bars per household ratio with 7 bars per every 10,000 households.
Buffalo comes in a close seventh with a 6.8 bar to 10,000 households ratio.
The top 10 drinking towns are: (1) New Orleans, LA; (2) Milwaukee, WI; (3) Omaha, NE-IA; (4) Pittsburgh, PA; (5) Toledo, OH; (6) Syracuse, NY; (7) Buffalo, NY; (8) San Francisco, CA; (9) Las Vegas, NV; and (10) Honolulu, HI.
