Black River woman accused of raping a teen

BLACK RIVER --

A Black River woman is accused of sexually abusing and raping a teen.

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, 28-year-old Nicole E. Hargis is accused of sexually abusing a 15 and 16-year-old between January 2011 and June 2012.

Hargis is charged with four counts of third degree rape, and one count of second degree rape, third degree criminal sexual act, and second degree sexual abuse.

Hargis was arraigned in the Town of Leray Court. Bail is set at $15,000 cash.
