DERUYTER --
Tragedy in Madison County Friday night.State Police say a 4-year-old child was hit and killed by a car.
It happened around 6 o'clock along Dugway Road, in the Town of DeRuyter, about 10 minutes south of Cazenovia.
Troopers say Martha Miller ran into the road and did not see the car coming.
State Police investigators do not expect charges to be filed in this case.
