After fire crews from Munnsville, Smithfield, Lincoln and Morrisville were called to a "fully involved" fire on the corner of Stockbridge Hill Road and Bishop Road in Stockbridge at 11:30pm Friday, Madison County Sheriff's deputies are now labling the cause of the fire suspicious.

The house's utilities were already disconnected, as the structure had been vacant for many years. Madison County Sheriff's deputies say during their investigation they learned that a group of youths were in the area of the fire at the time of the alarm.

Anyone in the area between of the hours of 10pm and 11pm on Friday that might have seen anything suspicious or may have information regarding the fire is asked to contact Madison County Sheriff's deputies at 315-366-2311.
