FULTON -- Fulton Police arrested Juan Rivera, 37, of Clay, after he led them on a chase through Oswego County on Friday.
Fulton Police say they tried to stop a vehicle on Ontario Street in the City of Fulton after they recognized the operator, Juan Rivera, who was known to have a suspended drivers license and an active arrest warrant.
Police say Rivera failed to pull over, leading police through the City of Fulton, into the Town of Volney, and finally police were able to pull him over and take him into custody on Maiden Lane Road in the Town of Scriba. Fulton Police, Oswego County Sheriff's deputies, and New York State Police were all involved.
Among other charges, Rivera was charged with Reckless Endangerment, Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer and Failure to Comply with the Lawful Order of a Police Officer.
Rivera was arraigned in the City of Fulton Court and remanded to Oswego County Jail without bail. He is scheduled to return to Fulton City Court on August 8.
The passenger in the vehicle, Kristin Bouchard, 29, of Clay, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Bouchard was released on an appearance ticket.
