Fulton Police charge Oswego County man with predatory sexual assault against a child

FULTON -- Fulton Police have charged an Oswego County man with predatory sexual assault.

Investigators say 39-year-old John Heaphy from Oneida Street in Fulton, has sexual contact with a child under the age of 13 during a three year period.

Detectives say Heaphy repeatedly abused the victim at multiple homes in the City of Fulton and the Town of Granby.

Fulton police charged him with two counts or Predatory Sexual Assault against a child, two counts of Course of Sexual Conduct and one count of child endangerment.

Heaphy was arraigned in Fulton City Court and is being held without bail.

Anyone with information about the suspect is being asked to contact Fulton Police investigators at 593-TIPS.
