SYRACUSE -- Syracuse police say they are investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday night around 11:00 p.m. in the 500 block of Bellevue Avenue.
Police say 19-year-old Laquan Kitchen, of Liverpool, was shot in the foot.
Kitchen told police he was walking down Bellevue Ave. when he heard gun shots and started to run from the area. Police say he was unable to provide any further information.
Kitchen was taken to Upstate Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is continuing and police ask anyone with information to call 442-5222.
