Syracuse football fans came decked out in team gear for FanFest.

SYRACUSE -- The annual Syracuse FanFest gives fans the chance to see their favorite team for the start of the season.
This year, the event was moved to the Carrier Dome because of impending thunderstorms. The weather, however, didn’t put a damper on the excitement for fans.
“I think it’s a great opportunity for a family like us to come out for a free day of SU, and it’s great for the fans," said Tracy Pierce, who came to FanFest with her husband and three young children. “As an alumni, it’s great to see the team in action.”
Fans also came away with posters and schedule cards, and had the opportunity to get team autographs after practice.
