SYRACUSE -- Three people were arrested early Tuesday morning at a Taco Bell restaurant on Grant Avenue in Syracuse.

Syracuse police say they spotted twin brothers Michael and Joshua Kranz hauling scrap metal from a construction dumpster behind the fast-food restaurant and loading it into their car.

The men claimed to have permission from a store employee to take the materials.

A call police placed to the restaurant's general manager, however, revealed that no one was authorized to take the metal.

Both men were arrested. Tara Waite, who was with the men at the scene, was also arrested. All three were charged with trespass and petit larceny.
