NORTH SYRACUSE -- The Village of North Syracuse Police Department is asking residents to lock their cars at night.

Last night several cars were broken into and items were stolen. All the cars were left unlocked in driveways. Police haven't identified any suspects yet and are continuing their investigation.

Police are asking residents not to store anything valuable in their cars and to call 911 if they see anything suspicious. The North Syracuse Police Department will be actively patrolling the streets to help prevent more break-ins.
