SYRACUSE -- Syracuse firefighters battling some intense flames on the city's south side Wednesday Night.
Fire broke out inside a garage at a vacant home along 259 West Matson Avenue.
The flames poured out of the garage and spread to the house nearby.
The heat was so intense it melted the siding on the house next door as well.
It took firefighters 15 minutes to get the situation under control.
The garage was destroyed, and the vacant home suffered serious damage. The home next to it is still intact despite issues with the siding.
Nobody was hurt by the fire.
