SYRACUSE -- A man has been charged in connection to a stabbing at a local car dealership.
Syracuse Police say 35-year-old LaTorrie Phillips of Marguerite Avenue in the city was charged with Assault and Criminal Possession of a weapon.
Detectives say Phillips got into a fight with a worker at Koerner Ford on West Genesee Street in Syracuse.
According to investigators there was an ongoing dispute between the two men.
A verbal confrontation allegedly escalated to a fight when Phillips armed himself with a knife.
35-year-old Fontaine Burrage suffered a small puncture wound to his biceps. Police say he drove himself to Crouse Hospital for treatment.
Phillips suffered a cut on his head, and was treated at University Hospital.
He is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges Tuesday morning.
