SYRACUSE -- A man is dead after a motorcycle crash Monday morning.
Syracuse Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash on the Old Liverpool ramp to I-81 south. It happened Monday morning around 7:45 a.m.
Police say Stephen Neider, 42, of North Syracuse, was driving a 1985 Yamaha motorcycle when it hit a guiderail.
Neider was taken to Upstate Hospital where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries.
Police say no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The Old Liverpool Road ramp was closed while the scene was cleared and reopened to traffic at 11:15 a.m.
