Crash in Amboy, driver dead at scene

A man is dead after a pickup hit a tree in Amboy, Oswego County. The accident was discovered early Sunday morning.

The driver of a pickup truck died, after crashing into a tree in Amboy.  The accident, on County Route 17, was discovered by a passing Oswego County Sheriff's Deputy at 12:49 Sunday morning.  The victim is a man, now identified as 35 year old Kenneth Birmingham, from Amboy, who was operating a 1997 Chevrolet S-10 pickup when he lost control on a curve.
Birmingham was the only occupant of the truck.

Deputies are still investigating the crash scene.  No word yet, how much earlier the crash happened, before it was discovered.
