WATERVILLE -- One woman was injured in her second car accident in less than 24 hours in the Village of Waterville on Monday.

According to Oneida County Sheriff's Deputies, 32-year-old Brooke Bullen was driving her car in an erratic manor when she ran into the back of a car driven by 43-year-old Lisa Shackelton at the intersection of East Main Street and Babbott Avenue. Bullen suffered a minor back and neck injury, and was taken to St. Elizabeth's. Shackelton was transported to Hamilton hospital where she was also treated for back and neck injuries.

The accident remains under investigation and charges are pending.

Bullen was involved in a personal injury accident the night before on Route 8 in the Town of New Hartford and was taken to St. Elizabeth's. She was charged with unrelated offenses following that car accident.
