FORT DRUM (AP) -- Soldiers, civilians and community residents will gather at Fort Drum in northern New York to mark the 11th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Officials say Tuesday morning's ceremony will honor those who lost their lives that day and recognize those who continue to support the global war on terrorism.

During the ceremony, bells will ring marking each impact time for the hijacked airliners into the World Trade Center's twin towers, the Pentagon and the crash site in Pennsylvania. A wreath will be laid at the on-post memorial at Clark Hall.

Fort Drum is home of the Army's 10th Mountain Division, which has deployed numerous times to Afghanistan since the terrorist attacks and to Iraq since 2003.
