WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Congresswoman Ann Marie Buerkle wants to pass new federal laws for the families of the victims of the Pan Am 103/Lockerbie bombing. The act of terror resulted in the death of 270 people, including 35 Syracuse University students.
With Libya in the news once again, the Congresswoman's legislation will call for a further investigation into the terrorist plot, and order what she calls just compensation for the families of victims.
Congresswoman Buerkle's staff says they expect her to present the Pan Am 103 bill to Congress by the end of the week.
