75 year old man robbed while watching television Saturday morning

SYRACUSE -- A Syracuse man was threatened and robbed in his apartment on North Salina Street at around 5:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Police say the 75 year old man was watching television in his upstairs apartment at 605 North Salina Street at 5:09 a.m., when two white men burst into his apartment and threatened to hurt him if he did not give them his money.

The men stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot going north on Salina Street. The victim was uninjured during the robbery.

The investigation is active, and anyone with information is asked to contact Syracuse Police at 442-5222.
