SYRACUSE (AP) -- Authorities say a 41-year-old Central New York man has admitted he grew 3,200 pot plants and sold the crop.

U.S. Attorney Richard Hartunian says Corey Leitz of Frankfort, pleaded guilty Monday in U.S. District Court in Syracuse to a charge of manufacturing marijuana.

Hartunian says from August 2011 until December 2011, Leitz had a growing operation in his barn in Frankfort, Herkimer County.

It was the second felony drug conviction for Leitz, who was also convicted in 1998.

Leitz faces up to 20 years-to-life in prison when he is sentenced January 29.
