SYRACUSE -- A stretch of Hiawatha Boulevard between Van Rensselaer Street and Solar Street will be closed Thursday and Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. .
Drivers are asked to plan accordingly, while crews continue the ongoing work on the Destiny USA Pedestrian Bridge, connecting the shopping center to the parking lot across the street.
Once it's finished, the bridge will allow shoppers to walk into the mall from the parking lot without getting too hot or cold.
