MACEDON (AP) -- Authorities are trying to identify the man's body that was discovered among cardboard and paper that was unloaded at a western New York recycling center.

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office tells local media outlets that three workers at the ALPCO Recycling plant in the town of Macedon discovered the body while sorting through recyclables Wednesday morning.

Authorities say the body is that of a middle-aged white male who was clothed but didn't have identification on him. Police say his death is being investigated as suspicious.

Officials say the body was on a truck that had collected recyclables from commercial containers in the Rochester area.
