BLACK RIVER -- A Black River man is facing charges for child pornography.
Police say a search warrant uncovered that Curtis Sprague shared photos over the internet of a female under the age of 16.
Police say he also had photos and videos on his laptop of girls under age 16 engaging in sexual conduct.
Police made the arrest based on information they received from the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children.
Sprague was charged with one count of promoting the sexual performance by a child, and 1 count of possession of obscene sexual performance by a child. He was arraigned in the Town of Leray Court by T/J Mead and remanded to the Jefferson County Jail on $7,500 cash or $15,000 bond.
