5600 walkers brave wet conditions to raise $340,000 for American Cancer Society

SYRACUSE -- Thousands walked the streets of Clinton Square Sunday morning at the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk.

More than $340,000 was raised by the 5600 walkers, with all of  the money going to help the American Cancer Society fight the disease with breast cancer research and raise awareness about breast cancer in general.
