Drug bust leads Oswego police to 1.6 pounds of marijuana

OSWEGO -- A drug investigation leads police to more than a pound of marijuana and ends in the arrest of an Oswego man.

Oswego police say they seized approximately 1.6 pounds of marijuana from a home at 230 West Seneca Street around 8:30 p.m. on September 30.

50-year-old Thomas Butler is charged with criminal possession of marijuana, a felony. Police say the marijuana was being sold from his home.

Butler was arraigned in Oswego City Court. There is no word yet when he will be back in court.
