SYRACUSE -- The agriculture program at Tully schools is now $10,000 richer, thanks to a new grant from a group called America's Farmers Grow Rural Education. The group helps improve schools' math and science programs.

The money will help to buy new welding equipment.  Local farmers nominated Tully for the grant, and a group of national farmers then picked the district. Tully was competing with more than 1,000 schools for the money.
