SYRACUSE -- Syracuse Police are asking for the public's help to catch a killer.

Investigators released surveillance video taken outside the B&B Lounge on South Avenue on September 30th. It shows the parking lot just before a gunman killed Rodney Maddux and wounded two others.

According to police spokesman Sergeant Tom Connellan, they need help identifying the car seen in the video, along with its driver. They're also looking for a man wearing a gray hoodie. That individual is seen reaching into the passenger side window. Connellan says the man in the hoodie is the "suspect" in the killing.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Syracuse Police at 442-5222. All calls will be confidential.

The department is in the process of posting the video to its Facebook page.
