CROGHAN, LEWIS COUNTY -- An 8 foot-tall ice cream cone sign was stolen from a restaurant in Croghan and deputies are asking for the public's assistance.

Lewis County Sheriff’s deputies say an 8 foot-tall ice cream cone sign was stolen from outside of Schulz’s Restaurant in the village of Croghan.

Deputies say it was stolen out of its wooden base in the parking lot area sometime between 9 p.m. Saturday, September 29, and 1 p.m. Sunday September 30.

The sign is about 8 feet tall and painted to look like a vanilla-chocolate twist ice cream cone.

Deputies are asking for anyone with information to contact the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office at 315- 376-3511.
