ROCHESTER -- Three local volunteers from the Finger Lakes NY Region of the American Red Cross are being deployed to eastern New York to prepare for Hurricane Sandy's landfall.

The three volunteers are state leaders for their area of expertise and will be assembling teams to assist them when they arrive at their destination.

Tony Muscolino, from Manchester, is responding to Albany as a Government Operations Supervisor. Sarah Perkins, of Henrietta, is responding to White Plains as a Disaster Assessment Manager. Winnie Romeril, of Wheeler, is also heading to White Plains to provide Public Affairs expertise.
