Travel advisory in Cortland County due to downed trees and power lines

CORTLAND -- A travel advisory until 7:00 AM on Tuesday morning has been issued for Cortland County by Sheriff Lee A. Price.

The 911 center in Cortland County has gotten several calls for trees and power lines being down due to winds from Hurricane Sandy.

Drivers are being asked to take extra care and be on the lookout for limbs, debris and power lines.  They are also being asked to not drive over the power lines.
