Syracuse police have arrested a man in the city's latest homicide.

30-year-old Jerry Crosby of Syracuse is accused of killing 65-year-old Jerry Mack  on October 19 in his home on West Kennedy Street.

Mack's 7-year-old son, who lived in the home, was inside at the time of his father's murder. Police say the boy was traumatized by the events, but he was not physically hurt.

Crosby is charged with first degree murder, robbery, burglary and criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned in Syracuse City Court and is being held in the Onondaga County Justice Center.

Anyone with information should call detectives at (315) 442-5222. All calls will be kept strictly confidential.
