Group meets monthly
Crouse Hospital is starting a new breast cancer support group. It meets the 4th Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm
An employee at Crouse Hospital, a breast cancer survivor, has started a breast cancer support group because she could not find one that met regularly.
Pink Therapy meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at 5:30pm at Crouse. Lisa Miles (who is doing fine in her own fight against breast cancer) says it offers exercise for any fitness level, complimentary therapies like massage, and talk.
Miles says the talk is the most important part, because the energy level and shared information from someone who's been there, for encouragement and to get through treatments, is a therapy in itself.
