Police investigate the scene on Park Street early Thursday afternoon

SYRACUSE -- Traffic is blocked off near Destiny USA as police investigate a report of a body found in the road.
Syracuse Police say they believe a person jumped from an elevated portion of the Interstate 81 highway near the mall in an apparent suicide.
While officers investigated the incident, have closed off the following streets:
- Park Street northbound at the I-81 exit ramp
- I-81 north exit at Park Street
- The intersection of Alliance Bank Parkway and Park Street
- The exit from Destiny USA to Park Street
The streets were reopened at 1:45 p.m.
CNY Central normally has a policy of not reporting on suicides, but in this case we felt the street closures warranted a story.
